QUESTION: Are we doing what we were created to do?

BE LIKE CHRIST!


In obedience, as modeled by Christ, emptying ourselves to others is not ‘exceeding expectations,’ it is merely living up to His standard. It is very dirty work, and not for the timid or easily-offended. Wasn’t that the model of Christ? He was a servant to all, surrounded by very undeserving beings, all with very clean feet.

We’ve been designed, equipped, and prepared for no less.

Christ gave His bride (the church/us) the Holy Spirit to insulate us from the effects of all that is around us - not to isolate us.
